As part of Al Baraka Day 2025, the Bank organized a major cleanup of the Ras Jbel forest, removing 200 tonnes of waste.

As part of Al Baraka Day 2025, Al Baraka Bank Tunisia organized a major cleanup and restoration operation in the Ras Jbal forest on November 11, 2025, in partnership with Tunisian startup Soul and Planet.

Using 10 semi-trailer trucks, 4 pickup trucks and 2 backhoe loaders, 200 tonnes of heavy waste were removed, while teams on the ground hand-collected 700 kg of lighter waste.

The municipality of Ras Jbel provided essential logistical support, mobilizing 6 municipal agents and distributing reusable bags to residents. In total, 21 volunteers took part, reaching close to 34,000 residents in the area.

This initiative is part of the 4th edition of Al Baraka Day, an annual humanitarian event held by Al Baraka Group across all its subsidiaries worldwide, themed "Life On Land" (SDG 15).
