Houssem Ben Haj Amor Puts Tunisia on the Map in Forbes Middle East's Top CEOs Ranking

Houssem Ben Haj Amor, CEO of Al Baraka Group, has been recognized by Forbes Middle East in its prestigious "Middle East's Top 100 CEOs 2026" ranking, published in the magazine's July-August 2026 edition.

With more than 27 years of experience in the financial sector across the Middle East, Europe and North Africa, Mr. Ben Haj Amor has established himself as a key figure in the region's banking transformation.

He has served as CEO and Board Member of Al Baraka Group since October 2022, chairs the boards of Al Baraka Türk and Al Baraka Jordan, and sits on the boards of the Group's subsidiaries in Egypt, Algeria and Bahrain.

In 2024, he was already ranked 65th among the 100 most influential leaders in the Arab world by Fortune 500 Arabia.
